Happy Gotcha Day!!

In the wonderful world of Adoption, the day you were legally became parents is referred to as "Gotcha Day!" This day is normally celebrated each year in the same fashion you would celebrate a birthday or anniversary.

Well, April 13, 2010 was our first 'Gotcha Day.'

On April 13, 2009 Lisa and I went before a Ukraine Judge with our wonderful translator Natasha, and were named Nicholas' parents!

To celebrate this momentous occasion, we went to dinner with our friends Tim and Kat at one of our favorite restaurants...Please enjoy the pictures below....I have fallen way behind on blogging, so I have lots of pictures and stories to share...as we tell Nicholas...."You have to be patient."

During the meal, on our way back from the restroom, Nicholas decided he would like to go outside and explore...here he is during his "Now I am going to sit on every chair on the patio," phase...
